Many words have been written about this enchanting city, cited by some as the oldest city in Europe. Situated on the southeast coast, it is bordered by Sant Antoni de Portmany, Santa Eulalia and Sant Josep de Sa Talaia. It is the largest city on the island, and is composed of the quaint, cobbled streets of the World Heritage-listed Dalt Vila (Old Town) and the modern area called Eixample (Extension).
